Andressa Michelotti

I am a Political Science Ph.D. Candidate at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). I am also a PhD research visitor at the Governing the Digital Society research group at the Utrecht University in the Netherlands. I have a Masters Degree in International Relations from RSIS at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore.

My research explores governance and Big Tech power in the disinformation debate in Brazil.

Previously, I co-founded In_Site Research, a research consultancy specializing in technology, society, and culture. I have also worked in the tech industry — Google and Facebook (Meta) — for over a decade. Last but not least, I am an amateur photographer and a coffee aficionada.
